The Pro Mobile Conference Gala Dinner, held Sunday 28th February 2016, played host to the presentation of the coveted Lifetime Achievement Award. The award was presented to Mark Walsh, Event Director for BPM-PRO and Pro Mobile contributor, for his commitment and passion for the industry, in which he plays a key role.
The Lifetime Achievement award, sponsored by DJ Guard, aims to recognise long term commitment to the mobile DJ industry and to the Pro Mobile magazine.
The award was presented to Mark prior to the Gala Dinner, inside the elegant ballroom at the conference location. Presenting the award to Mark was business partner, Pro Mobile Editor and Conference Curator, Eddie Short.
Mark Walsh was the obvious choice for the coveted award as a result of his vast amount of experience, in nearly every part of our industry, from product manufacturing to entertainment and event management. For numerous years in the world of mobile DJing, Mark Walsh has been a prominent figure. Throughout this time he has imparted his advice and knowledge in 60 Pro Mobile magazine articles, in addition to devoting himself to his co-founder and Event Director status for the annual BPM show.
The Pro Mobile Conference is now in its fourth year and is a great opportunity for guests to take part and listen to a series of networking sessions, product demonstrations, workshops and keynote seminars.
This years action-packed conference took place Sunday 28th February to Monday 29th February at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Heythrop Park, Oxfordshire. The 2016 conference featured a wide range of exceptional speakers, including American entertainment experts Randy Bartlett and Peter Merry. In addition, the conference also included seminars and workshops from internet expert Graham Jones and Apprentice star Katie Bulmer-Cooke.
