Numark has just announced the Numark NS6II, an updated version of its much-loved original NS6 controller which was launched back in 2011. The unexpected announcement aims to be price competitive within the DJ market.
The NS6II features dual laptop use, two high resolution in-jog displays and touch-sensitive knobs for more expressive DJing. MPC performance pads gives users’ quick access to hot cues, loop functions, a sampler and a slicer. Each function doubles-up with sub functions, allowing DJs to experiment with the 16 velocity-sensitive pads.
The NS6II also functions as a standalone mixer and each of the NS6II’s four channels is served by its own filter and effects knob, pushing out 24-bit quality sound and resulting in seamless DJ changeovers.
The controller has two microphone inputs and a split cue function for the headphones. A great asset for mobile DJs. Alongside this the NS6II has balanced XLR outputs and RCA booth and master outputs located on back.
The Numark NS611 controller will be available this summer and will retail at £650.
