Last week from Tuesday 25th April until Sunday 30th April Gearooz opened its first ever pop-up shop and performance venue. Located at 14 Church Street in the heart of Brighton, we opened our doors to DJs, musicians, lighting engineers and families of all ages.
The shop had two floors including a lower ground floor which hosted a small busking stage surrounded by lights. This allowed local budding and professional musicians can come in and perform a small audience throughout the week.
Our second ground level floor showcased a selection of products from Hagstrom guitars to MIDI controllers and electronic drum kits. Each area of the shop was aimed at a different interest within the industry whether that is DJing, guitar playing, singing or lighting designing.
The Gearooz team made sure that an extensive range of gear was on offer as we wanted to provide the tools for development in your hobby or profession.
Brighton was buzzing and our dedicated sales team were on hand to answer any questions and assist our customers in their product purchases or simple technical questions. Alongside this the Gearooz team will helped prepare the busking stage making it ready to go for any bands and performers that are willing to come and entertain the crowd.
Visitors could explore and demo new products, get hands on and interactive with a variety of equipment and shop the latest tech.
The Gearooz team saw customers discover a future hobby and watch existing DJs and musicians build upon their skills before taking to the downstairs busking stage.
We welcomed press and guests to our VIP evening on Thursday which was a roaring success and allowed our valued customers to enjoy some acoustic music, browse our product range and get exclusive offers and discounts.
Olly Slator manager and founder said: “This was new and unique venture for us, we watched members of the public explore their creative side and we hope we encouraged budding musicians and future DJs to continue in their career or jump into a new hobby. We had some fantastic feedback from the event and it is possible that our pop-up will return next year for another week of fun, so watch this space!”
Gearooz looks forward to welcoming you to our future events.
