With only less than a week to go until this year’s BPM|PRO, we hope you have your ticket because Gearooz have put together the perfect guide to your visit at the Genting Arena, Birmingham.

BPM|PRO is all about getting stuck in, seeing the latest products in action; getting some amazing deals, learning vitals tips and tricks, meeting industry experts and watching some talented DJs perform incredible sets.

To start your day visit the Gearooz exhibition truck where you can get your hands on the latest equipment including our new own brand range of moving heads and par cans, BPM customers can also receive exclusive offers and deals which they wouldn’t usually get in-store or online. The mobile showroom features an upstairs VIP lounge and interactive demonstrations for all customers.

Explore the array of exhibits and stands from leading and big-name brands and retailers. Alongside the stands on the floor BPM is also hosting the freestyle DJ competition and the DMX UK DJ championship which will see many aspiring DJs showcasing their skills and battling for the chance to win some incredible DJ related prizes.

BPM|PRO has many educational sessions lined including the “rock the dance floor” panel session from Phil Morse the founder of Digital DJ Tips, who will be discussing the five proven steps you can take to become a great DJ. Whether you are a novice or semi-pro DJ these panel sessions will teach you some important lessons and tips on becoming a successful DJ.

The PA demo room is the ideal place to hear the latest PA systems without the outside noise and it you can put any sound system up against another you can you decide which one you need to assist your superb set.

Then head over to the “under the hood” session by Chauvet DJ which will see product specialists provide tips and tricks to ensure you get the maximum life from your moving head fixtures. If you need a problem solving get advice from the professionals as they will be on hand to support you, show you how to solve common problems, and answer any burning questions you may have.

Another talk that will be highlighting BPM is the panel session from the Pro Mobile magazine editor, Eddie Short, who will be joined by industry DJs to discuss how to enhance your event with creative mobile lighting. Displaying the latest equipment on the BPM show floor, the panel will be covering everything from practical issues including how to successfully sell your show to prospective customers.

If the panel sessions don’t take your fancy then visit the impressive Chauvet Arena which is making a reappearance following its success over previous years. It will be opened by the 2016 DJ of the year and the afternoon will feature a line-up of sets and performances including one from Stu Allen who will be hosting the dance classic after party. This gives visitors to dance and listen to dance anthems from the 90s and early 00s.

If you are bringing the family and need to keep them entertained throughout the day, then take them to Resorts world. Located opposite the NEC, Resorts world is a complex filled with outlet shopping, an 11 screen cinema, soft play area, restaurants and bars, and even a spa and hotel! It has so much going on to entertain the kids and keep them occupied during your BPM experience.
