On Sunday 9th April the Gearooz team supported the annual Brighton Marathon by volunteering at their water station again.

The team got up bright and early to set up their tables on mile three with banners and flags at Victoria Gardens and were ready to prepare for the influx of runners.

It was the hottest day of the year so far with temperatures reaching 20C, and with 12,500 runners taking part, come 9.30am the course was well and truly alive and the drinks were being poured quickly!

After all the runners had passed the Gearooz team began the water station clear up where they filled a skip full of water cups ready to be recycled.

To show support for the thousands of runners, the team were given whistles so they could cheer on those passing the station and keep them motivated for the long road ahead.

It was a warm and wonderful day that was enjoyed by everyone and Gearooz congratulate those that successfully ran the course! The team were proud to show their support and we look forward to volunteering next year.
