With only two days to go until BPM|PRO, Pioneer DJ has already announced three new products to its range of DJ equipment. The new additions include the DJM-450, the DDJ-weGO4 and the WeDJ performance app for ipad.

The DJM-450 has a professional layout that is similar to its predecessor, the DJM-900NXS2, and it is designed to be paired with XDJ-700 multiplayers. Features include two headphone outputs, sound colour FX, beat FX, 30-band EQ and a built-in sound card which offers superb audio quality thanks to its 64-bit digital signal processing incorporating dither technology.  This also means users can connect their computer and connect apps in their mobile device using a USB cable and alongside the internal FX featured in the DJM-450.

The EQ curves give users smooth precision across the highs, mids and lows and the isolator feature can eliminate each EQ band.  An accurate and durable device, the DJM-450 will be available from November.

The WeDJ performance app is aimed at entry-level DJs and features a colour animated interface. It allows users to mix two decks using the interface and users can toggle between two different view modes: waveform view and jogwheel view. Novice Djs can playback and mix tracks onto their iPad via the iTunes library and use FX to add custom creativity to their sets.

The streamlined WeDJ has a wide range of features and it includes a sync button that will allow users to align two tracks for beat mixing and gets tracks in time. Recently launched on the Apple App store, the WeDJ also has an auto gain feature that will match the level on a lined-up track to one that the user is currently playing and sets the correct volume.

The DDJ-WeGo4 is the latest model in the WeGO series of controllers. Also designed for beginner DJs this portable controller features a slot for your iPad whch you can connect via lightening cable, EQ knobs, play/cue buttons, tempo sliders, jog wheels and a cross-fader giving DJs all the controls they need to mix perfectly.
