Pioneer DJ has introduced the new 2.11 update for Traktor Pro software that enables Ableton link and they have added DJM-900NXS2 and CDJ-2000NXS2 compatibility, something that users have been waiting for! The Traktor Pro software also has Traktor Scratch compatibility which features in the new launch of Traktor 2.11.

It also has full USB-HID compatibility and allows DJs to have seamless changeovers thanks to its built-in sound cards. Two USB ports and input selector switches allow users to connect multiple devices to their computer and mixer at the same time.

Key features of using the DJM-900NXS2 with Traktor Scratch Pro 2 includes DVS and scratch control which enables users to plug into their PC/Mac and use the media to intuitively control and scratch with digital audio files.

Alongside this users can use this unit as an audio output device without needing an external interface. The USB sound cards enables 24-bit sample processing allowing users to input/output each audio signal and maintain sound quality just by connecting the mixer to a laptop.

The features of using the CDJ-2000NXS2 is that users can track information on the screen and users can see artwork images and wave from their tracks as it is displayed on the high-resolution screen.

The HID control allows users to control track decks without the need for a control disc. Features such as loops, tempo adjustment and play/cue are all automatically mapped to the software resulting user friendly changes.

In order to start DJing with Traktor Scratch Pro users will need to download the 2.11 software of Traktor and update their mixers to the latest version.
