With over twenty hours of seminar content taking place at various locations across the city, visitors to the two-day event were guaranteed plenty of opportunity to develop their existing skillset and knowledge.
The wide range of brands exhibiting at Plasa Focus 2016 allowed me to visit an excellent selection of stands including; Chauvet Professional, FBT, ADJ, Stagg, LeisureTec, Athletic and Laserworld, Pioneer, Sennheiser, plus many more. The show also enabled me to discover new brands, such as Astera LED wireless lighting. Furthermore, I was able to see first hand new products and gain an insight into their product specifications.
New products I was particularly excited to see first hand were ADJ’s new moving head range, featuring the New Vizi Beam RXONE, Vizi Beam Hybrid 2R and Asteroid. Their stand also showcased their new LED screens and battery parcans which were all displayed professionally alternating between powder coated truss stands, with moving heads on top.
In addition to ADJ, I also took the time to walk around the larger scale Electro Voice and Adam Hall exhibiting spaces, additionally located in the New Dock Halls. There I was able to see various PA packages, including the new white Maui 5 speaker column system.
Located in the central outside marque were Chauvet Professional, exhibiting their new Maverick moving head range which was very exciting to see. These high end, large scale, professional moving heads look brilliant and definitely live up to Chauvets quality and high manufacturing standards.
Finally, inside the Royal Armouries Hall I was able to see a selection of high end brand exhibition spaces, such as Pioneer and Sennheiser. Furthermore, I was able to visit Stagg, Athletic and Laserworld. Each of these stands had a selection of products on display, some of which were completely new to me.
Overall, the show was a success and an excellent opportunity to network and meet other industry professionals who are passionate about their products.
