Pop Icon Pete Burns has died at the age of 57.
The lead singer of the British pop group Dead or Alive passed away on Sunday after suffering a cardiac arrest.
The news broke through a tragic tweet posted on the pop star’s page on behalf of his loved ones.
A statement released via social media read: “All of his family and friends are devastated by the loss of our special star. He was a true visionary, a beautiful talented soul and will be missed by all those who loved and appreciated everything he was, and all of the wonderful memories he has left us with.”
The androgynous singer had been public about his ongoing health complications and admitted to having an addiction to cosmetic surgery, having over 300 operations in his lifetime, most of which were on his face.
Just several weeks before his death, Pete appeared on Celebrity Botched Up Bodies, and the last picture of the star out with friends shows the toll that surgerOctober 26, 2016
